Applied art is the application of design and aesthetics to objects of function and everyday use. 實用藝術是應用設計和美學的功能和日常使用的對象。
Whereas fine arts serve as intellectual stimulation to the viewer or academic sensibilities, the applied arts incorporate design and creative ideals to objects of utility, such as a cup, magazine or decorative park bench.而美術智力刺激的觀眾或學術情面服務，應用藝術設計和創意理念融入到實用物品，如茶杯，雜誌或裝飾公園的長椅上。
